Start your career driving delivery trucks, vans, dump trucks and other vehicles related to the transport industry with HCC's Class B CDL training program. Designed for individuals with no prior commercial driving experience, the program provides classroom instruction, hands-on training, and testing preparation to help you earn your Class B Commercial Driver's License.
A Class B CDL can open the door to a variety of entry-level careers in, construction, delivery, and public works.

Ready to Get Started?
Before enrolling in the CDL program, schedule an appointment with the Rider School by calling 443-518-4808 or emailing Ride@HowardCC.edu. During your appointment, you'll review the program's mandatory licensure requirements, learn what to expect, and determine whether the program is the right fit for you. Financial aid and payment plan options are available.
Once you enroll in the CDL Readiness class, you'll need to provide a copy of your valid driver's license and complete a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination and drug screening (at your expense) performed by a licensed medical examiner. All enrollment requirements must be completed at least five business days before the start of your CDL program.
