Course Benefits
This course is designed to give students an understanding of business innovation and how makers think about data and process challenges to create solutions in the business ecosystem.

Students will be able to:
1. Identify and communicate business problems and apply reference frameworks to solve the problems;
2. Document a process and implement business process automation tools like Power Automate and UiPath for process automation;
3. Create low-fidelity prototypes and develop a basic understanding of Microsoft PowerApps;
4. Describe the importance of data analytics for businesses and the challenges businesses face with the use of data;
5. Visualize data using Microsoft Power BI.

Through virtual and in-person labs, we’ll explore topics like:
- Software problem solving
- Design thinking
- Process engineering
- Data analysis
- Desktop software automation
- Technologies including: Microsoft Power Automate, Microsoft PowerApps, Microsoft power BI and Uipath
