Present Your Research at the Scholars Symposium

Each year, HCC students engage in a wide variety of research and scholarship across disciplines. The annual HCC Scholars Symposium provides an opportunity to share and recognize the high caliber of student research and scholarship while giving students in the Honors and Undergraduate Research programs the opportunity to engage with the HCC and surrounding community in a scholarly conference setting. The symposium is a centerpiece of creative and intellectual life on the HCC campus, and all students and faculty are welcome and encouraged to attend.

The next Scholars Symposium will be held Monday, April 26, 2027, at 2 p.m. in HCC's Burrill Galleria.

Students currently in good academic standing in the Rouse Scholars, Schoenbrodt Scholars or Undergraduate Research programs, as well as students who have completed a faculty-sponsored honors project, may apply to present at the 2027 Scholars Symposium. Check back soon for the online form.

Applications must be submitted by 5 p.m. Friday, March 12, 2027. Please discuss your plans with your faculty sponsor before submitting your proposal.
