In this instructor-led, online course, you will gain the skills needed to install, configure, and troubleshoot computer networks. Learn how cables, connectors, networking devices, Ethernet, clients, and servers work together to form functional networks. Topics include LANs, WLANs, WANs, network architecture, protocols, standards, and security practices. Students will design and install small networks and apply basic security measures. This course prepares students for the CompTIA Network+ certification. Access to a computer, internet, and Canvas login are required. A good understanding of operating systems such as DOS is helpful but not required. No Refunds seven days before the course start date. 4.5 CEUs.
