Education and Economic Development Community College State Aid Briefing

Maureen Evans, Vice President of Government and External Affairs, testified before the House Appropriations Education and Economic Development Subcommittee (EED). 

Vice President Evans highlighted Howard Community College’s outcomes on transfer rate performance, Jump Start dual enrollment growth, the enhancement of wraparound services for students, and underscored the importance of continued support to continue these initiatives. 

Community colleges are the most efficient investment this state can make in workforce readiness, economic mobility and equitable access to higher education.
