Pregnant and Parenting Student Support Plan
Howard Community College (HCC) is committed to ensuring that students who are pregnant, parenting, or sharing caregiving responsibilities can enroll, persist, and complete their educational goals free from discrimination.
Definitions
A pregnant and parenting student is defined as any enrolled student who (1) is pregnant; (2) exercises care, custody, or control over a dependent child; or (3) shares parental responsibilities with someone in the same or a different household. HCC will apply the Pregnant and Parenting Student Support Plan to credit, continuing education, and dual-enrollment students, as applicable.
