TEFL Certificate – Theory
This comprehensive 85-hour course is the first in a two-part series that provides a rigorous yet practical introduction to teaching English as a Foreign Language (EFL) across diverse global contexts. Designed for both aspiring educators and experienced instructors, the course bridges foundational theory and real-world application. You’ll develop a strong command of grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and pragmatics while learning effective strategies to teach the four core skills of listening, speaking, reading, and writing. The course covers both young and adult learner contexts, emphasizing research-backed methodologies, systematic lesson planning, and proactive classroom management. These concepts come to life during structured ESL class observations and practical lesson demonstrations. By the end of the course, you will possess the theoretical framework, practical skills, and professional confidence needed to begin teaching in a variety of international and multilingual settings.
