Description: Ages 15+. This updated course will prepare students for both the verbal and math sections of the SAT. Verbal preparation includes interpreting the meanings of relevant words and phrases in context, using close reading to increase comprehension, and identifying central ideas and themes of a text. Math preparation includes mastery of linear expressions, creating and solving equations, using ratios, percentages and units, problem solving, and data analysis.
