Begin a rewarding career in behavioral health in just 40 hours. HCC’s Mental Health Technician program prepares you to support patients with compassion, assist with daily care, respond to crises, and communicate effectively. Students must attend a four-hour Zoom lecture on Tuesdays and a six-hour-in-person class on Thursdays to complete the course. Successful completion qualifies students for the Certified Mental Health Technician exam, opening opportunities in hospitals, residential programs, and community care. Students must be 18 years old.
