
Medical Assistant
The Medical Assistant program is comprised of three courses designed to prepare you with the knowledge, technical skills, and work habits to pursue an entry-level position in the ambulatory medical field. This program concentrates on helping you acquire knowledge and develop skills in performing laboratory, clinical, and medical office procedures in a physician’s office or ambulatory care clinic. This course includes an online component as well as mandatory skills/ lab sessions, and an extensive practical internship. Requirements: high school diploma/GED, you must pass a criminal background check, have a current BLS CPR certificate, and complete health forms required for patient contact. Students must also successfully complete XH-121, XH-122 and XH123 to receive a certificate. No refund seven days prior to the start date.
