Remote English placement testing is fully booked for the month of August 2026. Please visit www.registerblast.com/howardcc to register for an on-campus placement testing appointment.
HCC offers the choice of two testing formats to fulfill the English placement requirement.
The Guided Student Placement, which is a written response assessed by the English faculty, or the ACCUPLACER, a multiple-choice exam consisting of Reading and Writing sections.
You are allotted two placement attempts and do not have to take both options unless required.
