
Delisle Warden, Vice President of Policy and General Counsel
Delisle Warden is the vice president of policy and general counsel acts as the chief legal officer at Howard Community College. Mr. Warden joined Howard Community College on July 31, 2023. Prior to joining the college, Mr. Warden served at the George Washington University Law School, where he led the Center for Professional Development and Career Strategy. As associate dean, he enhanced counseling and professional development services for law students, resulting in a record-breaking 90.8% employment rate within nine months of graduation. Previously, he served as general counsel for California community colleges and gained experience at an AM Law 100 firm and a Fortune 100 technology company.
As the vice president, Mr. Warden coordinates the legal, contractual, policy, information technology and procurement programs of the college. He is a member of the state bars of Maryland, California, and Texas, and holds a CIPP/US certification from the International Association of Privacy Professionals.
He earned his Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School, where he served as the general editor of the Harvard Blackletter Law Journal. He also holds an MBA from the Olin Business School at Washington University in St. Louis, and a BA in international studies from Emory University.
