Turkey Burger
Ingredients
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 pound ground turkey
- ¼ tsp dried rubbed sage
- 4 whole wheat buns
- 1 tbsp. unsalted butter
- ½ tsp. salt and pepper
- slices lettuce (optional)
- Slices of tomato (optional)
- Slices of onion (optional)
- Spicy mayo(optional)
- BBQ (optional)
- Side salad (optional)
Preparation Instructions
- Combine ground turkey and 1 tsp salt, garlic, pepper and sage in a bowl.
- Roll ground turkey mixture into 4 balls 1 inch thick patties, season with salt and pepper.
- Heat a saute pan to medium high heat, add 1tbsp of olive oil, add turkey burgers.
- Cook patty on both sides and cook until temperature is 165 degrees.
- Assemble burgers with lettuce, tomato, onion, spicy mayo and BBQ sauce or whatever you desire, and enjoy!
