
Getting Registered with DSS
Students self-identify and are encouraged to contact DSS as soon as possible after admission to the college. Students can register with DSS at any time during their academic career; however, accommodations are not retroactive.
How to Register
- Apply to Howard Community College (Complete the HCC Admission Application). You cannot be fully registered as a DSS student until the HCC Admission Application process is complete with your HCC email and password.
- Visit the Accessibility Information Management System (AIM) to complete the DSS Online Student Application using your HCC login and password.
- Upload your disability verification document at the end of the DSS Online Student Application. Have questions about appropriate documentation? Review our Documentation Guidelines below.
