Japanese 1B

Reinforce information learned in Japanese 1A in this second course in the basic Japanese series. Students will learn more vocabulary, phrases, and grammatical structures, and continue developing basic reading and conversation skills. Participation in Japanese 1A is not a required prerequisite for this class, but ideally students should have prior experience with Hiragana and some basic vocabulary and phrases prior to enrolling.

Japanese for Travelers I

In this continuing education course, students will learn practical Japanese vocabulary, phrases, and cultural tips to prepare for travel to Japan. This is one part of a two-part course.

In this continuing education course, students will learn additional basic Japanese vocabulary, phrases, and cultural tips that will help make travel to Japan more enjoyable. This is one part of a two-part course. Participation in Japanese for Travelers I is not a requirement to enroll in this course.

Foundational Japanese I

This noncredit course is coenrolled with credit JPNS-101. All coenrolled language classes include regular homework, assessments, pass/fail grades, and a lab component. (T)
