This grounding practice helps you know yourself better, appreciate yourself, and allows you to get a more relaxed and sound sleep. Regular meditation can activate the body’s rest-and-digest system and begin the process of ushering the body back to a more natural and calm state. This class is geared for those new to yoga and interested in a gentle practice. Students will learn simple flowing sequences to warm up the body, as well as slower paced movements focusing on alignment, strength, balance, and flexibility, ending with an extended period of relaxation.
