This beginner-friendly course introduces students to the fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence (AI), including the basics of Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Machine Learning (ML). We’ll explore the real-world perils of AI – such as bias, misinformation, and deepfake risks – and provide practical strategies for using AI tools safely and effectively. This course is designed for older adults and introduces students to the foundational principles and poses of a gentle flow-style yoga class. Suitable for all levels of mobility and experience, this course supports participants in gradually building strength, flexibility, balance, and body awareness at their own pace. Writing your own obituary not only ensures accuracy but also serves as a meaningful resource for future generations researching their family history. Caring for others is both rewarding and exhausting. This unique course offers caregivers a safe, supportive space to take a “vacation” through the healing power of laughter and play. Learning about the neuroscience of humor and its impact on the body and mind, participants will engage in applied improv exercises, which often induce laughter. Participants will discover practical tools for managing stress, building resilience, and find joy even in most challenging circumstances. Around 527 AD, Bodihidharma arrived in China. During this period, he and his disciples suffered from muscle aches, weakness, and fatigue due to rigorous training and adverse climatic conditions. To remedy this situation, Da Mo created a set of exercises that kept the body strong and flexible, calmed the mind and heightened spiritual awareness. Hands of the 18 Luohans is a deep and efficient exercise system that integrates physical postures, breathing techniques and focused attention. Using 18 specific forms, you will develop flexibility and ease aches and pains in your back. Instructor David Foulk introduces you to this ancient form of exercise in a clear and precise manner. Through the concepts of “look, follow, modify and forget” you will learn how to transform your physical health into a state of harmony, balance, and wholeness.

During opening reflection, learn about the philosophy and history of yoga, to include topics such as The Yoga Sutras and the Eight Limb Path. Regular reflection and yoga practice can assist with increasing mindfulness and self appreciation while simultaneously contributing to one’s health and well being. Move your body through the various yoga poses designed to complement the opening reflection. Increase the flexibility of your mind and body while benefitting from a consistent yoga practice.
