Young Engineers: Intro to Engineering & Coding

Ages 8–10. Get ready to build, code, and bring creations to life! In this hands-on course, students dive into the world of robotics and engineering by designing and constructing 3D models of robots and real-world machines. Along the way, students will learn how to write commands and arguments that make their models move, light up, and react to their surroundings using sound and distance sensors. Explore how speakers, lights, and motors all work together to make your builds come alive! By the end of the course, students will be thinking like an engineer and coding with confidence, using logic, creativity, and problem-solving to make their ideas move. Offered in cooperation with Youth Science Leadership and Arts Club, LLC. 1 week.
