Ages 6–8. Earth to students… do you copy? Blast off on an intergalactic adventure that’s out of this world, and right back down to Earth! In this hands-on course, students will build a model solar system and their very own 3D planet; and learn all about caring for the Earth by making a terrarium and starting a garden of their own. Students will learn about outer space, the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), planet Earth, pollution, ecosystems, and "green" gardening. Offered in conjunction with McCoy Environmental Group, LLC. 1 week.
