Rockets and Robotics
Ages 6–8. Rockets and robotics, what a great combination! Working in small teams, students will learn how to write step-by-step programs to navigate mazes, react to motion, and build simple LEGO® robots. They will build and explore machines and mechanisms, discover motor design differences, and study gearing systems. Using the concepts learned, students will then design their own rockets to test and take home, but not before a fun launch party (weather permitting)! Offered in conjunction with Goldsmith Education. 1 week.
