Prep for High School Geometry

Ages 13+. Without geometry, life is “pointless.” This vital class will introduce students to several topics that will be taught in a high school geometry course. We will review the foundations of geometry and expand geometric reasoning. Students will gain a better understanding of parallel and perpendicular lines, triangle congruence and similarity, properties of various polygons and shapes, area, perimeter, circumference, and volume. Prerequisite: Algebra 1. 1 week.
