Money Smart Kids: Fun-Damentals of Finance!

Ages 8–10. Let’s make money make sense! In this playful, beginner-friendly course, students learn the basics of budgeting, saving, and making smart spending choices, without the boring stuff! Through games, hands-on activities, and silly “needs vs. wants” challenges (spoiler: a pet dragon is a want), students discover how to track money and build good spending habits. Students will explore how savings can grow, what interest is, and how to set simple money goals that feel exciting and achievable. With supportive guidance and plenty of practice, students gain confidence as money-smart thinkers, because learning about dollars and cents should be worth every penny! Offered in conjunction with Goldsmith Education. 1 week.
