Microbiology and Evolution
Ages 12–14. Ready to evolve your thinking? In this hands-on, brains-on course, students will journey through interactive lessons that bring evolution to life, no time machine required! Explore millions of years in a blink, crack the code of phylogenetic “family trees,” test natural selection in action, and discover how adaptations help species survive the wild world. Students will also take a peek into the future of gene editing, because evolution isn’t done yet! Each activity is paired with a scratch project students can personalize or “mutate” to create something even more gene-ius. This course is survival of the most curious! 1 week.
