Messy Chemistry
Ages 8–10. Get ready to mix, fizz, splat, and wow your way through the spectacularly messy world of chemistry! Students will whip up their own slime, play dough, and ice cream, spark surprising reactions, and experiment with everyday household ingredients. From the periodic table to states of matter, students will discover how chemistry pops up in daily life — one ooey-gooey, bubbling, exploding experiment at a time. Ages 11–14. Get ready to mix, fizz, pop, and splatter your way through the wonderfully messy world of chemistry! Students will whip up their own slime, play dough, ice cream, explosions, and lots of chemical reactions all with items commonly found at home. Things will definitely get messy in the name of science and fun! Students will learn about the periodic table, chemical reactions, states of matter, and how chemistry is found in our everyday life.
