Is It Who or Whom?
Ages 11–14. This specialized writing class focuses on the sentence, the essential building block of writing. Students will learn to identify the parts of speech, master the use of verbs, determine subject and predicate, examine phrases and clauses, and construct sentences with correct grammar and punctuation. Through group editing and analysis, students will explore the key components of strong sentence structure, improving the clarity of their writing. This course will provide preparation for standardized writing tests. 1 week.
