Garment Sewing

Ages 11–14. In this class, students will dive into the exciting world of sewing and master the basics of using a sewing machine. They’ll learn how to thread the machine, wind a bobbin, and sew straight and curved lines-both forwards and backwards. Students will also discover how to measure their bodies to choose the perfect pattern size, read pattern packages and instructions, and skillfully lay out and cut fabric. By the end of the class, they’ll put it all together to create their very own pair of comfy pajama pants! 1 week.
