Fun With Fondant
Ages 11–14. Discover the art of cake decoration and learn how to transform simple cakes into stunning works of edible art. Students will explore the techniques behind creating intricate flowers, bows, and other decorative elements using fondant and gum paste. They will also practice the skill of covering cakes with smooth layers of buttercream and fondant, while adding painted and accent details to enhance their designs. Students will need to provide their own un-iced cake on the fourth day of class. 1 week.
