Elementary Engineering

Ages 6–8. Engage in exciting engineering challenges, using LEGO® Education materials to design, build, and create. Students will explore the fundamentals of engineering and simple machines, learning how pulleys, levers, gears, and more work together to power everyday objects. As they build on this foundation, they will progress to creating compound machines, motorized vehicles, and robotic creations. Working in teams, students will creatively tackle challenges that require problem-solving and innovation. The course culminates with students using light and sound sensors, pulleys, wheels, and gears to bring their own mechanized designs to life, stepping into the role of an inventor. Offered in conjunction with Goldsmith Education. 1 week.
