Creative Changemakers: Design for Social Impact

Ages 11–14. Being a changemaker doesn’t always mean marching in the streets; it can mean painting, building, performing, designing, or even launching a tiny-but-mighty business. Creativity is one of the most powerful tools young people have to spark action and shape a better world. In this 5-day course, students will explore how art, design, and entrepreneurship can become impact-tastic pathways for social change. Through hands-on projects, teamwork, and expressive challenges, students will discover fun and meaningful ways to make a difference while building the confidence to see themselves as leaders in their schools and communities. By the end of the course, every student will have created a mini portfolio of projects and contributed to a team campaign, proving that even small ideas can make a big splash!
