Advanced Robotics
Ages 8–10. Students will create basic artificial intelligence (AI) to program a robot using visual and text-based code. They will utilize a variety of sensors that help their robots navigate and overcome daily class challenges. Working in teams, students will apply different coding concepts while using the scientific method to formulate, observe, experiment, test, and modify their robot. Students will work in teams for most of the program. No prior experience is required. Offered in cooperation with Black Rocket Productions, LLC. 1 week.
