Language Arts Review I
This course is designed for students working towards earning their high school diploma or those needing a review to prepare for college-level English courses. Topics are drawn from concepts in reading and writing and include the parts of speech; paragraph construction; grammar, punctuation, and capitalization; developing reading fluency; recognizing details, sequences, and comparisons; locating information in reference material. There is a $60 materials fee.*

Topics include reading and analyzing a variety of literary and informational texts; argumentative and persuasive writing; and, grammar.
