Movement, Music & Nutrition Education for Teachers & Caregivers
I Am Moving, I Am Learning (IMIL) courses focus on Movement, Music and Nutrition education for child care professionals, teachers and parents. This collection of fun-filled, hands-on, interactive courses for teachers and caregivers is focused on increasing physical activity and promoting healthy nutrition choices for children ages birth to five.
For each set of two two-hour courses you complete, you will earn a Continuing Education Unit (CEU) certificate and Maryland Core of Knowledge credit. In our schedule of classes, look for courses with “IMIL” in the title.

- Body Language: A Movement Vocabulary of Young Children 2 HR (1 HR Curriculum/1 HR Child Development) & Observing and Evaluating Motor Skills of Young Children 2 HR (Child Development/Curriculum)
- Making the Most of your Music 2 HR (Curriculum) & Moving With the Brain in Mind 2 HR (Child Development)
- Nutrition Building Blocks 2 HR (Health Safety and Nutrition) & Opportunity Knocks 2 HR (Health Safety and Nutrition)
- Move, Play, and Learn at Home 2 HR (Community) & Take It Outside 2 HR (Health, Safety and Nutrition)
- Birth to Five: Introduction to Motor Development 2 HR (Child Development)
