Gain skills to administer medications safely to children in child care centers and family child care homes, and learn to provide special care arrangements for children with asthma and allergies. This state-approved curriculum addresses Maryland child care licensing requirements and NAEYC standards for program accreditation. Topics include practices and procedures for administering over-the-counter and prescription medications to children, including asthma and allergies medications.
