Cybersecurity Support Specialist Apprenticeship

HCC's IT Cybersecurity Support Specialist apprenticeship program is designed for apprentices who will work as entry-level cybersecurity professional for local companies, progressively gaining new skills and IT certifications. Key roles and responsibilities might include: troubleshooting computers, installing cables and software, providing technical support, and resolving IT tickets. Apprentices will complete 23 on-the-job training work competencies over the course of one year. Upon successful completion, apprentices will be eligible to earn certifications in CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, and CompTIA Security+.
Apprenticeship Status
Admission to the Cybersecurity Support Specialist Registered Apprenticeship program is primarily driven by our employer partners hiring prospective apprentices. Although our Cybersecurity Support Specialist Apprenticeship Program is not currently accepting applications, please review the associate and certificate programs that are offered at HCC. Requirements for Admission
Standard requirements for admission are:
- Be 18 years of age or older by the program start date.
- Earned high school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to meet physical job requirements.
- Have a valid driver's license and/or reliable transportation.
