Howard Community College (HCC) President Daria J. Willis today announced a $1 million grant awarded to the institution by the U.S. Department of Education to support the re-opening of its campus childcare center.

Enrollment at HCC has grown by more than 4.6% over the last year. The increase is two percent higher than the full-time equivalent (FTE) statewide average and establishes the college’s final headcount numbers as the school’s highest figure since 2020.
