The Howard Community College Board of Trustees announces updates to upcoming meetings.

HCC and St. John Baptist Church launched a monthly free breakfast distribution to HCC students, extending their shared commitment to limiting the impact of food insecurity on deserving scholars. The Howard County Economic Development Authority (HCEDA) has generously awarded a $60K grant that will cover full instructional costs for 17 registered apprentices studying in HCC’s cybersecurity certification program. "We look forward to seeing the success of this cohort of apprentices, and the college growing as a regional and national partner in cybersecurity capacity building,” said Jennifer Jones, CEO of HCEDA. The initiative, set to kick off on designated days in February 2024, provides valuable support during tax season.
