Nancy Berg, Reiki Master
Sherrie Black, Acupuncturist
Sherrie Trede Black, RN, MAc, Lac, is a Registered Nurse and a Licensed Acupuncturist, with advanced studies in Women’s Holistic Health and Fertility, and a Certified Zero Balancing Practitioner. Sherrie combines her knowledge of Western Medicine and nutrition with the ancient wisdom of Acupuncture and the gentle touch of Zero Balancing to bring relaxation, symptomatic relief, and personal and spiritual growth to her clients. Sherrie provides auricular acupuncture to HCC students, involving the placement of thin needles on specific points of the ear. Cierrah Dixon-Styles, Licensed Esthetician
Cierrah Dixon-Styles specializes in body waxing and facial services. She offers her expertise at Howard Community College, where she provides 30-minute Express Facials free of charge for students. Licensed since 2022, Cierrah launched her business, Natural Obsession, in October 2023. She focuses on building meaningful relationships with her clients, and tailors each service to address individual concerns, ensuring that every client feels comfortable and confident in their skin. Madeline Miskie, Certified Yoga Teacher
As someone who spent 17 years in higher education as both a student and faculty member, Madeline is keenly aware of the potential for jam-packed schedules, academic pressures and workload to negatively impact student life and take a toll on mental health. Her classes at HCC provide students, faculty and staff with simple, accessible strategies for stress management through breathwork, myofascial release and yoga. Her teaching philosophy stems from her own personal view of holistic health, which she defines as, 'the development of a loving relationship with oneself in which the heartfelt care of the body, mind and spirit are of greatest priority.' Madeline is honored to be giving back to the HCC community in collaboration with the Student Wellness Division.
Outside of HCC, Madeline is the owner and founder of Windsong Voice and Yoga - through which she offers private instruction in voice and yoga, group yoga & myofascial release classes, workshops, and an on-demand yoga & movement library with an emphasis on empowerment through awareness. Casey O'Neil, Licensed Massage Therapist
Casey O'Neil graduated from the Holistic Massage Training Institute in 2017, and is a Licensed Massage Therapist with the state of Maryland, and a member of Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals (ABMP). Her passion is helping others in the best way she knows how, through massage therapy!
She believes that if you don’t pick a day to rest, your body will do it for you and that self-care is a MUST in today’s busy world. She wants to create a space where people take some much needed time focusing on themselves. Her mission is to promote relaxation, stress relief, and a pain free lifestyle for clients through therapeutic massage. She provides client focused treatment by listening to her client's needs and tailoring every treatment to ensure the best outcome. Massage not only helps with stress, relaxation, and aches and pains, but it does so much more than that. Her main purpose is to help people live better lives by utilizing the healing benefits of massage.
Rose Pak, Healing Touch Practitioner Apprentice
Rose Pak is a Healing Touch Practitioner Apprentice, Tutor, & Educator. She uses spiritual insight, knowledge, & techniques to help the mind, body, & spirit heal naturally on its own, along with balance, circulation, stress/pain/emotional management, & self care skills to clients. Rose provides Healing Touch to HCC students.
