International Education Week is an opportunity to celebrate the benefits of international education and exchange worldwide. This joint initiative of the U.S. Department of Education and the U.S. Department of State is part of efforts to promote programs that prepare people for a global environment and attract future leaders from abroad to study, learn and exchange experiences (US Department of State).
During International Education Week, faculty, staff, and students host and facilitate a variety of events, such as presentations, films, workshops, and social gatherings, that focus on international and intercultural themes. In addition to celebrating the nationwide week, we also are taking more initiative to create year-round programming to ensure consistent education for the community. If you are interested in participating in or proposing an event, please contact International Education staff via intled@howardcc.edu.
