Assistant Professor Jeremy Bomberg earned his Master of Fine Arts in Graphic Design at the Savannah College of Art and Design. His thesis focused on the exploration and design of visual teaching aids, enhancing the academic experiences of hearing-impaired art students in traditional post-secondary institutions. Jeremy also earned his Master of Arts in Digital Art from the Maryland Institute College of Art and Bachelor of Fine Arts in Printmaking from the University of Delaware
For twelve years, Jeremy has taught visual arts and graphic design. Courses included traditional publishing, packaging, typography, illustration, photographic manipulation, and drawing. In conjunction to his role as assistant professor, Jeremy is currently the Chair of Visual Arts. As chair, Jeremy has worked diligently to create a rigorous and competitive academic department that focuses on student success, academic enrichment, and transferable pathways.
Furthermore, Jeremy strives to be a continuing member of the design community, working for local design firms as well as larger organizations, such as Share Our Strength and the Discovery Channel. One of the highlights of his career was working as a digital reconstruction artist and colorist for Marvel Comics. Jeremy has also enjoyed the opportunity to create cosmetic packaging for Sephora Cosmetics and Shopper’s Drug Mart (Canada).
