Thank You for Starting Your HCC Honors Application
The application form is the first step in completing your Honors Application. There are additional supplemental items you must submit to complete your application. Please use the list below to complete your application.
Supplemental Items
Required Items:
- $25 application fee (waived for HCC Dual Enrollment students and students with demonstrated financial need).
- Submit your official high school transcript.
- Complete our Additional Information Form/Resume.
- Student Essay.
- Teacher/Counselor recommendations (two are required).
Optional Items:
- Official SAT/ACT Scores
- Teacher/Counselor recommendations (you may submit additional letters of recommendation for consideration).
- Official Advanced Placement/International Baccalaureate or SAT Subject Test scores.
Applications are still being accepted and considered on a rolling, space available basis.

*Academic performance and challenging coursework are the strongest factors for admission. In certain circumstances, consideration will be given to students for whom traditional indicators of academic excellence are not always valid. For some cases, students may be asked to come in to take the college's placement exam.
