
Usher Sign up Confirmation
Thank you for submitting your request to usher. We will do our best to accommodate your first choice. However, you may be assigned your second or third choice. We will contact you either by email or phone to confirm your date.
Please note: Your submission is considered tentative until you receive a confirmation email from the Box Office staff confirming specific your assignment date. If you need documentation of service for community service, please bring any forms that require signatures with you when you arrive for your shift. You will also receive a confirmation email after your shift is completed to verify your hours.
Below you will find an overview of usher responsibilities.
Usher Responsibilities
- When program inserts (stuffers) are used, all ushers are to help stuff programs. All inserts are to be placed inside the front cover of the program.
- Bring any patron issues to the attention of the House Manager.
- Sell refreshments during intermissions.
- Ensure that patrons adhere to the food/beverage restrictions; no food or beverages with the exception of bottled water, allowed in the venue.
- In the event of an emergency, ushers should follow the direction of the House Manager and/or HCC Security Staff.
- Assist any patrons with special needs to the exit in the event of an evacuation.
