Howard County Community Dance Festival

Festival Overview
The Howard County Community Dance Festival is a collaborative event presented by the Howard Community College Dance Program, Liberal Arts Division, and Horowitz Visual and Performing Arts Center, with support from the Maryland State Arts Council and the Howard County Arts Council. The festival gathers the dancers of Howard County and the surrounding areas in a celebration including classes and performances in the hope that dance will continue to be a valued and lasting component of the arts in Howard County. We endeavor to feature dancers, teachers, and choreographers from the Baltimore/DC metro area as a means of exposure and support in our growing and vibrant community.
The Howard County Community Dance Festival is appropriate for dancers aged 11 years and up. New to the festival in 2026, we will offer masterclasses to the adult population. These classes are recommended for dancers 18 and up.
The Howard County Community Dance Festival is presented by the Howard Community College (HCC) Dance Program with support from the Howard County Arts Council.
