Whether you're interested in participating on stage, backstage, or in the audience, the you'll find an opportunity here at HCC. the Horowitz Center supports a variety of theatre activities for community members interested in theatrical arts. Students and community members are encouraged to audition for roles in HCC Theatre productions. Patrons of the theatre can enjoy plays and musicals produced by the college's theatre program as well as presentations brought to campus by regional partners including The Columbia Center for Theatrical Arts and Imagination Stage. These partnerships help to ensure that the joy of live theatre and theatre education is accessible to everyone in the greater Howard County region.
- HCC Theatre Department Productions
The award-winning and regionally recognized HCC Theatre Department offers many performance opportunities for students and community members throughout each year, including fall and spring plays and musicals, touring children’s theatre, showcases, and outdoor Shakespeare performances. Led by a professional theatre faculty, students are well-prepared for a future in theatre.
