Dragon's Visionary Heart Award
The Dragon Visionary Heart Award is presented to a donor whose extraordinary generosity and forward-thinking contributions have significantly shaped the strategic direction and future growth of Howard Community College. This award honors the innovative spirit and impactful philanthropy of an individual whose outstanding monetary donation has created transformative opportunities and lasting benefits for the college and its community.

Dragon Spirit of Excellence Award
This award is presented to an outstanding employee, program, or department who has demonstrated exceptional dedication, innovation, and commitment to the mission and values of Howard Community College. The recipient of this award embodies the spirit of the Dragon through their hard work, leadership, and positive impact on the college community.

Take a look back at the Howard Community College Educational Foundation's (HCCEF) President's Gala, held on April 5, 2025, at Power Plant LIVE! in downtown Baltimore. More than 400 guests from government, industry, faith communities, and nonprofit organizations joined together to celebrate student scholars and the opening of the Kahlert Foundation Complex. The evening also raised a record-breaking more than $330,000 for student scholarships.
