Cyber on the Catwalk
December 2, 2025
The Cause
Cyber on the Catwalk isn't just an event, it's a mission. In partnership with the Technology Advancement Center (TAC), the HCC Educational Foundation is raising funds to help students afford industry-required cybersecurity certifications, which often cost $100 to $300. These credentials are frequently the last step between a student and a job offer.
Your support helps eliminate financial barriers, opens career pathways, and strengthens Maryland’s cybersecurity workforce.
The Event
Join us for Cyber on the Catwalk, a creative new event where Maryland cybersecurity leaders and community stakeholders walk the runway wearing Maryland-made products—all to raise critical funds for students pursuing cybersecurity careers.
Expect the Unexpected
The runway will feature products made right here in Maryland—from fashion, fitness, fun, and comfort to health, safety, and beyond—each relying on robust cybersecurity to safeguard sensitive data, intellectual property, proprietary designs, and manufacturing processes. Alongside classic runway fare like clothing, accessories, and shoes, we’ll spotlight unexpected innovations such as wearable medical devices, protective gear, and even musical instruments.
Who’s Walking the Runway?
Representatives from Maryland’s cybersecurity ecosystem—including Government agencies, private companies, nonprofits, and academic institutions—will take to the catwalk in support of tomorrow’s cyber talent.
