The 33rd School-Based OT/PT Conference is co-sponsored by the Maryland State Steering Committee for Occupational Therapy and Physical Therapy School-based Programs and Howard Community College.

Overview
This one-day virtual conference will provide occupational and physical therapists with essential information on current topics related to early intervention and school-based occupational and physical therapy. The conference will feature a plenary session in the morning and two breakout sessions in the afternoon.

Registration Information
Registration Opens: Wednesday, August 19, 2026
- Fee: $65.00
- Deadline: October 7, 2026 at 11:59 PM. (No exceptions to permitting registration after the deadline.)
- Cancellations: Cancellations made on or before October 7 will receive a 100% refund. No refunds will be issued after the deadline. Send cancellation requests to tgoins@howardcc.edu.

- The conference link will be emailed to registered attendees on Friday, October 9. Due to the volume of registrants, the email will be sent in batches that day; we appreciate your patience. A reminder email will be sent the week of October 12.

The conference registration is a TWO-STEP process.
Please complete the following steps IN ORDER:
Step 1: Registrant Agreement and Afternoon Session Selection
Registrants must complete the registrant agreement to (1) authorize the release of their information to authorized accrediting bodies for CEUs and (2) confirm their understanding of and agreement to the attendance requirements and qualifications necessary to earn a certificate of attendance/CEUs.
Registrants must select a preferred afternoon session for the conference. They will receive session-specific Zoom links based on their choice one week prior to the conference.

Step 2: HCC Registration and Payment
Conference registration will occur through Howard Community College's Workforce, Career, and Community Education (WCCE) registration site. The WCCE Online registration site is available from 7 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. daily.

Note: Registrants do not need a course number, the registration link below will automatically navigate you to the course section in the registration system.

Who Should Attend?
Occupational Therapists and Physical Therapists practicing in schools and early intervention in Maryland.

Conference Format
- The morning session will be a Zoom Webinar and the afternoon sessions will be held as Zoom Meetings.
- In the morning: There will not be a waiting room ~ the zoom webinar will go live at about 8:00 AM.
- In the afternoon: The zoom meetings will have waiting rooms and attendees will be admitted at about 12:25 PM.
- Attendees will not need to monitor their video or microphones.
- Questions to the presenter should be submitted via the Q&A button.
- The morning session will be a Zoom Webinar and the afternoon sessions will be held as Zoom Meetings.

Attendance Requirements
Attendees must be logged on for the entire conference and must complete, at the designated times, the required pre- and post-tests in order to receive a CEU certificate.

Certificates
This course has been approved by the Maryland Board of Occupational Therapy Practice for 6.0 contact hours.
This continuing education has been approved by the Maryland State Board of Physical Therapy Examiners for 6 Continuing Education Hours.
Attendees who successfully complete the conference will receive their certificates via email on Friday, October 30, 2026.
