Student Resources:

In addition to resources like student advising and tutoring, you can also receive the help you need from any of the following:

  • Wellness Center

The Wellness Center empowers students to make informed decisions about their health, ultimately enhancing their well-being and quality of life. The center provides a variety of educational materials, hosts educational workshops, plans awareness activities and provides students with referrals as necessary. Visit The Wellness Center online  or in-person to find out what activities are planned and how to access wellness-related materials.  Please note that the main entrance to The Wellness Center in the Burrill Galleria is now open.  We are located on the first floor of the CL building, right below the Clark Library.

  • LGBTQ Resources

Our resources also include gender neutral bathrooms, located throughout the campus.

Safe Zone is a network of allies committed to providing a welcoming, supportive and safe environment for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBTQ) students, faculty and staff at HCC. Safe Zones aim to foster an affirmative climate of civility, safety and support for all members of the campus community. Its members serve as allies, educators, resources and advocates.

Visit the Safe Zone page for more information about gender neutral bathrooms and to find allies on campus.

  • Voter Registration

Voter registration cards are available in the Office of Student Life and the Welcome Center. Download online forms and information about upcoming elections from the Maryland Board of Elections.
