 Discounts, services and student perks - it's good to be part of HCC!

The Office of Student Life is pleased to offer the following discounts and services to students and members of the HCC community:

Discounted AMC Movie Tickets

Students can purchase discounted AMC movie tickets for $10.50. Tickets can be purchased at the Cashier’s Office located in RCF 200-A.

National Aquarium Tickets

Students can sign up for free tickets to the National Aquarium in Baltimore.  Students should click here to sign up.

In addition to resources like student advising and tutoring, you can also receive the help you need from any of the following:

  • Wellness Center

    The Wellness Center empowers students to make informed decisions about their health, ultimately enhancing their well-being and quality of life. The center provides a variety of educational materials, hosts educational workshops, plans awareness activities and provides students with referrals as necessary. Visit The Wellness Center online  or in-person to find out what activities are planned and how to access wellness-related materials.  Please note that the main entrance to The Wellness Center in the Burrill Galleria is now open.  We are located on the first floor of the CL building, right below the Clark Library. 

  • LGBTQ Resources

    Our resources also include gender neutral bathrooms, located throughout the campus.

    Safe Zone is a network of allies committed to providing a welcoming, supportive and safe environment for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBTQ) students, faculty and staff at HCC. Safe Zones aim to foster an affirmative climate of civility, safety and support for all members of the campus community. Its members serve as allies, educators, resources and advocates.

  • Voter Registration

    Voter registration information and forms, as well as upcoming election updates, can be found online from the Maryland Board of Elections.

  • Housing Information

    Looking for an apartment, house, or room to rent? Or would you like to offer a place for others to rent? Visit our Online Housing Information Page where you can find properties around campus or post your listing for everyone to see.   • Serenity Room
    The Serenity Room is currently closed due to COVID-19.
  • Game Room

    Welcome to HCC’s newly renovated Game Room where you can play board and video games, watch a movie on our large screen TV, play foosball, Ping-Pong or pool, or just hang out with friends. We have regular tournaments and programs from beginner to experienced players. All are welcome! 

    The Game Room will open August 30th for regular fall hours! Located on the first floor of Student Activities building (SA 100).

    Mondays - 10am -7pm

    Tuesdays -  9am - 7pm

    Wednesdays -  9am - 9pm

    Thursdays - 9am - 9pm

    Fridays -  9am - 5pm

  • HCC Bulletin Boards

    We have bulletin boards throughout campus as well as a virtual bulletin board that highlight campus events, services, and resources available to the HCC community! We encourage you to visit our virtual bulletin board to see what’s happening on campus!

  • Basic Needs

    Help with Daily Essentials: Safe and secure access to food, housing, and health care are critical to your academic success. If you struggle with these basic needs, you are not alone. These resources can help, so you can focus on learning.
