Entrepreneurship - A.A. Degree (Transfer)
Entrepreneurship starts with an idea, and ends with a sustainable business process. No matter where you are in the cycle, HCC's Center for Entrepreneurial and Business Excellence can help you learn how to transform your entrepreneurial dream into reality. Each program option provides the knowledge, skills, and support needed to think and act like an entrepreneur, and ultimately succeed in today's business world.
The majority of businesses in the U.S. follow the format of entrepreneurial ventures. Success in this environment is enhanced by knowledge and skills about entrepreneurship and its major elements.
Students can expect to achieve behaviors basic to successful business operation and prepare to transfer to a four-year school studying business and entrepreneurship.. Students who plan to transfer to a baccalaureate program are encouraged to review the requirements of the program to which they intend to transfer.
As a graduate, you should be able to:
- Identify, understand, evaluate, and apply ethical reasoning.
- Select and apply technology to investigate, create, communicate, and complete tasks.
- Use creative thinking and problem solving to recognize opportunity and assess risk versus reward.
- Develop and execute a strategic plan to launch a sustainable new business venture.
