Noncredit Scholarships & Financial Aid
We understand that the decision to pursue your education at Howard Community College requires a financial commitment. For this reason, HCC offers an array of assistance designed to offset the costs. Scholarships and financial aid may be available for students who meet certain criteria and enroll in career-related noncredit courses. Some aid may have residency requirements.
Governor’s Emergency Education Relief (GEER) Fund
If you have been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, you may apply for scholarship assistance through this new program. This funding will cover the cost of tuition and fees for selected programs and courses. Based on your level of need, you may also apply for additional funding to cover costs for textbooks, child care, and transportation. This assistance is available through December 30, 2021, so the class must start before that date.
