Maryland Innovation Center
6751 Columbia Gateway Drive, Columbia, MD 21046
From I-95: Driving north or south on I-95, take Route 175 west exit toward Columbia (exit 41B). Follow Route 175 about ½ mile to Columbia Gateway Drive exit. Follow Columbia Gateway Drive through 3 traffic lights. The Maryland Innovation Center is immediately on the left.
From Annapolis and East: Drive west on Route 50 to I-97 north (Baltimore) to Route 32 west (Columbia). Follow Route 32 to I-95 north (Baltimore). Take Route 175 west exit toward Columbia (exit 41B). Follow Route 175 about ½ mile to Columbia Gateway Drive exit. Follow Columbia Gateway Drive through 3 traffic lights. The Maryland Innovation Center is immediately on the left.
From West Columbia & Ellicott City: Take Route 29 to Route 175 east exit, and follow Route 175 to the Snowden River/Columbia Gateway Drive exit. Follow Columbia Gateway Drive through 3 traffic lights. The Gateway Building is immediately on the left.

FROM ROUTE I-70: Take Route 29 south to Route 175 west (Little Patuxent Parkway). Go west on Little Patuxent Parkway past the Columbia Mall and Howard Community College. Take a left on Cedar Lane (Howard County General Hospital is on the corner). Take a left at the first light onto Hickory Ridge Road. The Continuing Education Office is in the office building to your left after Charter Drive. It is a three-story brick building with tinted windows.
FROM I-95: Exit onto 175 west (Little Patuxent Parkway) and follow directions above.
FROM ROUTE 29 SOUTH OF COLUMBIA: Take Broken Land Parkway, exit 18 (Town Center, Hickory Ridge). Make a left from Broken Land at the first traffic light onto Hickory Ridge Road. The Hickory Ridge Building is the three-story brick structure with tinted windows on your right, approximately .8 miles from the Broken Land/Hickory Ridge intersection.

FROM BALTIMORE: Drive west on US 40; bear left (south) on US 29. Take Exit 20B—Columbia Town Center—off of US 29, and continue on Little Patuxent Parkway to Howard Community College, a distance of 6.8 miles from the intersection of US 40 and US 29.
FROM BALTIMORE BELTWAY 695: Take exit 16 west (Interstate 70N). Drive 7 miles and bear left (south) on US 29. Continue as above to Howard Community College.
FROM I-95: Driving north or south on I-95, take the Jessup–Columbia (Route 175) exit. Follow Route 175 west (Columbia), which turns into Little Patuxent Parkway where it intersects US 29. Continue on Little Patuxent Parkway to Howard Community College.
FROM WASHINGTON, D.C.: Drive north on US 29 (Colesville Road) about 18 miles from the Georgia Avenue–Colesville Road intersection. Take Broken Land Parkway, exit 18 (Town Center, Hickory Ridge). When you come to Little Patuxent Parkway, turn left and follow to Howard Community College.
Laurel College Center

FROM I-95: Take exit 33A for Route 198, East Laurel. Proceed to Fourth Street and turn right. At the next intersection, Marshall Avenue, turn left. We're in the ten-story office building on your right, but proceed up to the light at Route 1, turn right, and go to the adjacent Laurel Shopping Center to park. (After 5:30 p.m. and on weekends, you may park in the lots adjacent to the building.)
FROM ROUTE 32: Take exit for Route 1 south. Go about 3 miles. Just past the Tastee Freez, you'll see Marshall Avenue and our ten-story office building, but proceed on Route 1 a little further to Laurel Shopping Center to park. (After 5:30 p.m. and on weekends, you may park in the lots adjacent to the building.)
Parking
On the HCC main campus, you may park in any of the lots with signs designating "Students" and in either of the parking garages; no sticker or special permit is necessary. Please observe the posted signs and do not park in the lots designated for faculty or staff, or along any curbs painted red, as your vehicle may be ticketed and towed. Handicapped parking is conveniently located throughout the campus. At off-campus locations such as high schools and senior centers, you may park in any unrestricted slots. The Maryland Innovation Center has free parking. Laurel College Center also has free parking; please observe the signs for appropriate spaces to use.
